My 1 week old TV started turning off on its own. Sometimes it runs for an hour before it turns off, sometimes it runs for only a few minutes before it shuts off. This is proof for the technician that my TV needs to be replaced I'm not using the remote control to power off. Note that whenever a remote control signal is received, the red light at the bottom flashes. The TV first powers off, then then the light goes into steady red state, indicating standby mode.
